Apostle Peter

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear.

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

But if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another.

For of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: but the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you.

For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

That one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
