And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities.

Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself?

I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
