I know what it's like to have your family thrust you into a situation where the world is on your shoulders and you're not at all sure if you have the strength to carry it.

You can't shut down, or it'll eat you up inside.

She's in her room, searching for a spell that doesn't exist to fix a problem that can't be solved.

She deserves the rest. You should be proud of her. Your 15-year-old just saved an entire city, and no one will know to thank her for it.

I'm a Mikaelson, so I'll take any opportunity for a good dramatic entrance.

Elijah described it to me once. In his... oh-so-poetic way. He said... at first, there's nothing. But then... you slowly start to realize that there's nothing. That's your consciousness reigniting.
