Destiny isn't a path that any cat follows blindly. It is always a matter of choice, and sometimes the heart speaks loudest. Deep down, I always knew what I had to do, and that's why I came back to the Clan. Lionblaze, whatever else happens, I trust you to know the right thing to do as well. Listen to your heart, because that's where your true destiny lies.

It's pointless to mind your own destiny. You just have to face it. One path is as good as another. It's not knowing which one to take that's scary. Now that I know where I'm meant to be going, there's nothing to fear.

If you don't feel any fear, you will never be able to feel brave. Courage is nothing without the knowledge of what you face.

It doesn't give up, does it? It's always there, constant like the stones in this cave. Maybe we should be like the moon's reflection, holding fast whatever happens?

I have no more to lose than any of my Clanmates. We all have something precious that we risk losing every time we fight.

This is how Clan cats fight. We do not try to kill, and we do not make enemies of the weak or the young.

And I was wrong. Kits should be precious to all Clans. After we have taken these three back to WindClan, I will ask Ivystar to suggest an addition to the warrior code: that kits should be protected by every cat in the forest, regardless of which Clan they come from. All our futures depend on them.

Knowledge is wasted on those without the wisdom to know how to use it. And wisdom comes only with time.
